NEW in 2010 - Equipment Swap!
Do you have old player equipment laying around that's too small or no longer needed?
Join us in helping young families in St. Albert keep costs down. During registration, bring in your gently used/clean soccer cleats, shin pads, socks, shorts, balls, or team equipment to SASA - there is a drop box outside the front door for after hours too so items can be left at any time.  During registration - this equipment will be provided to families free of charge.   Thanks for helping us turn this in to a successful program!

Referee Liasion Program
Every year we train young referees, send them out to their first games, then never see many of them again - largely due to the abuse they sometimes take for making a mistake.  First time on the job?  Of course they'll make mistakes.  Will they get better?  Absolutely. Are we there to help them?  We can't be everywhere at all times, but the answer is yes.  We have a great asset at SASA, Ken Kovacs and a number of other senior refs in St. Albert work with these young start up refs during tournaments, and during league games as time permits, but we need your help.
SASA has a Referee Liaison Program in effect for all games.  Details are posted in the Coaches area - we ask that all parents and coaches take this program to heart.  Please help us by being a part of the solution - don't be the person in this video - http://soccer-coaching-blog.com/2009/03/22/how-much-respect-do-you-show-the-referee/
