U8 Advanced Skills Development Academy - NEW! In Outdoor 2010, we began an invitational U8 Skills Development Academy program designed for the U8 player who is passionate about the sport of soccer, who is already showing above average skills, and who is willing to dedicate more time to developing those skills under the direction of a Licensed Coach and Staff Coaches. So we can get a head start on the season, and because we have found it too difficult to "scout" all teams in a timely manner to identify players who should be invited - we have instead opted to offer this program through a pre-season registration format (Cost is $130), followed up with on-going scouting within the program and working with U8 Program Coaches to identify others who may have missed this opportunity. If your son/daughter meets the criteria above - this will be an excellent program, developing skills through fun and age appropriate small sided games. Program is under the direction of Norm Odinga (National B Licensed Coach) and our team of Staff Coaches. Registration Form
Pairing Requests It is important to note that SASA forms community league teams by community of residence or by combining communities if needed. This is to help with car pooling as well as help players get to know others from their neighbourhood. (Late registrations may not be able to play on teams from their neighbourhoods) If you must still make a special request, please note: Pairing requests are limited to 1 mutual pairing of players and must appear on the player's registration at the time of registration. Due to the increased number of requests received each season, and the additional hours and staff required to process, an additional fee for requests has been established. Each registration (U4 - U14) making such a request will be charged a $10.00 fee. This fee is refundable if your request is not met.
Due to the amount of Pairing Requests received in previous seasons after registrations have been completed and the amount of extra time entailed to make adjustments, late Pairing Requests will only be accepted until Midnight, September 16, 2010 AND each family must fill out and sign the Late Pairing Request form, under NO circumstances can one family submit on behalf of both parties, attach the $10.00 Pairing Request fee per player and submit it to the SASA office. No phone calls will be accepted.
