Good afternoon all,

This week, Alberta Health announced that there might be additional restrictions lifted, and we may know on March 1st what they will be.  This announcement on March 1st will help the EMSA and SASA decide on the remainder of the season and determine an end date.   If the league is cancelled based on the March 1st announcement, Club teams will continue to train until March 28th.

We have received some questions about refunds for both the Community & Club programs.  At this time, it is our intent that players will be receiving a pro-rated refund based on the program provided plus an operational fee.  However, we cannot determine the final amount of the refunds until EMSA calls the season and we know what they are returning for the league fees.   We are working on the program costs for each age group, and once we have the EMSA fees, the final calculation for refunds should be simple.

Outdoor 2021 registrations will open for SASA Community programs, U4 – U19, March 1.  Club registrations will be held in April.  Full registration and Community program detail are now posted on our website.

In regards to Club tryouts for the outdoor season, the dates are tentatively set to start the week of April 25th.  However, if the season is cut short, we will be working with Alberta Soccer and other local districts to potentially move them to an earlier date.  Additional information will be posted on our website as it becomes available.

We are grateful that a portion of our members have returned to training in some aspect and look forward to continued safe progressions to the regular version of the sport we desire.

If you have any questions about the season, refunds, or anything else, please feel free to contact our office.

Thank you for your continued patience and support.
