U19 Program


Players born 2002 & 2003

• Teams play in EMSA (Edmonton Minor Soccer Association) league
• Players, Coaches, and Managers require SASA ID card prior to the first game
• Home games – St. Albert
• Away Games – Edmonton and surrounding area
• Practices throughout the season are at the discretion of the team
• Drop-in keeper training throughout the season  offered at no extra cost
• Teams are eligible to attend tournaments, however, this is an additional cost to the team

Focus on Fun and Player Development
The emphasis at U19 should be on the development of basic technical skills through practices that promote an understanding of the team game. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable, competitive and fair environment in which every player has the opportunity to learn and grow. All players should have relatively equal playing time.

Program Structure
• Game Length: 90 minutes
• Game Format: 11 vs 11 with dedicated keeper
• Full FIFA rules
• Assigned certified referees
• Warm-ups and stretches are done prior to scheduled kick-off on side of the field

Important Dates - 2021

General Info

  • Tentative season - May 15 to mid-July
  • Registration is on a first come first served basis
    Players are not considered registered without payment
  • Players are required to have their own shin pads, and labeled water bottle
  • Jerseys, shorts, soccer socks will be supplied by SASA for the player’s to keep
